Alvis TD Series This Alvis TD Series II going under a total restoration. The picture shows the engine bay stripped out ready for rebuilding, also the right hand wing has had the paint removed back to bare metal as part of our thorough preparation prior to re-spray.
   
Alvis wing This shows corrosion which came to light when the lower wing was removed. The corrosion is between the chassis and the inner wing. To rectify this we will cut out all the corroded metal and fabricate new pieces.
   
Alvis TD 21 These are some of the parts removed during restoration which will be refurbished with new components prior to refitting on the car. These parts are from an Alvis TD 21 Series II and include carburetors and a starter motor.
   
Alvis TF 21 We have recently undertaken a total re-spray on this Alvis TF 21.
   
Alvis TF 21 front The Alvis TF 21 also had new spax adjustable shock absorbers fitted. We can also supply Spax adjustable shock absorbers.
   
Alvis boot This Alvis TD 21 Series II has had a new boot floor fitted along with a refurbished rear panel fitted to the car. We can also supply new boot floors.
   
Welding This highlights some of the intricate welding required during the restoration process. Along with the care and attention to detail we pride ourselves in.
   
Alvis TA14 This Alvis TA14 with the bonnet, front grill and radiator already removed prior to the engine being lifted out of the engine bay.
 
Alvis engine This picture shows the bottom end of an Alvis TA14 engine which has been stripped down revealing damage to the white metal bearings and also corrosion within the engine block.
   
crank and pistons Here are the crank and pistons which were removed. As part of the rebuild new pistons were fitted to the crank which was reground to fit the new white metal bearings.
   
Alvis cylinder head This is a cylinder head from an Alvis TA14 which was skimmed and polished prior to being refit to the engine.
   
engine block Here you can see the bottom end of the engine block with the new white metal bearings in place prior to reassembly.
   
fully restored engine The engine is now nearly fully restored and highlights the engine block which has been fully polished and cleaned.
   
Alvis engine bay The rebuilt engine has been lowered back onto the engine bay.
   
fully refitted The rebuilt engine fully refitted, polished and ready to run.
